HOW CAN I GET STARTED?
At Wildcatz Indoor Sports, Indoor Netball is one of our most popular sports that is played from children as young as 4 years through to 70-year olds! Not only is there a division that is age appropriate for you, but we also have different skill level grades to ensure that games are as fun and engaging! At Wildcatz we are unique where you have the opportunity to start your own team and enter it into the competition! Don’t stress if you don’t have enough as we can also find you a suitable team, for those existing teams that are chasing players! We currently have the following availabilities;
Game Play
- 7 Players per team (Up to 3 males for mixed teams)
- 4 x 10-minute quatres
- Teams are recommended to arrive 10 minutes prior to the commencement of the game to ensure they are able to take the court at the commencement of their game.

Similar to its outdoor counterpart indoor netball is a flowing low-contact sport with a strong focus on teamwork to work together to defend and score goals.
Rules
- When defending you must be a minimum of 3 feet away from the player’s first grounded foot.
- No player may contact an opponent in order to interfere with the opponent’s play either accidentally or deliberately.
- A player with possession cannot slide or drag the grounded foot, hop onto the other foot or re-ground the landing foot before releasing the ball.
- If a player enters a zone of the court they are not allowed in, a free pass will be awarded.
- Players can’t go offside to retrieve a ball at any time.
- A player who has had control of the ball; stopped it, bounced it forward intentionally, had possession in the palm of the hand or caught it cleanly may not re-gather it unless it is touched by another player.
- A short pass between two players occurs when there is insufficient room for another player to come through and have the opportunity to gain possession of the ball.
- A player who has either caught or held the ball must pass or shoot for a goal within three seconds of having received it.
- A player is not permitted to touch the netting; however, they may use the netting to throw the ball into when passing to another player or shooting.
- The Umpire has full control of the game and each decision is final. Please respect each call as officials do their roles for the love of the game.
- We ask that teams have matching uniforms by their third game. A uniform can be as simple as each player wearing a plain black shirt.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
Uniforms – Our main focus at Wildcatz Indoor Sports is to make all the sports we offer as fun and social as possible. However we require teams to have a team uniform by the commencement of their fourth game. This uniform must meet our policy of requirements. If your team doesn’t have a team shirt then uniform penalties can apply.
